UPDATES ON THE PERMANENT SKATEPARK IN MONTCLAIR, NJ

RESOLUTION PASSED

(Jul 14, 2021) Another HUGE step forward… The Montclair Township Council UNAMINOUSLY

voted on a resolution to pledge to build a permanent skate park at Rand Courts.

SLOW AND STEADY

(Feb 27, 2020) After much support from the community and Township Officials,

we’re happy to have been part of opening two courts in Rand Park.

BY LOCALS, FOR LOCALS

(Jul 25, 2020) Built by skaters and carpenters alike, Montclair’s Rand Courts became home to some quality quarter-pipes, rails, boxes and ramps. These features allow skaters to go bigger and learn at a faster pace than before. Each feature can be moved from one part of the park to the next, allowing for an endless combination of lines or maneuvers for skaters to try.

THE LONG ROAD AHEAD

(May 1st, 2021) With growing support and awareness of Rand Courts both inside the Montclair community and to skaters of North Jersey, the current objective is to give skaters a place in Montclair to call home.

A permanent park would create a better environment for growth and community inside Montclair’s skate scene. Details will follow on how to get more involved with Montclair’s efforts to secure a permanent park in the coming months on both Facebook and Instagram.
